LGBT places for León, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Celaya, Irapuato, Pozos, Salamanca

There are many destinations of interest to LGBT travelers in Guanajuato state with its rich colonial history and scenic towns and landscapes and vibrant nightlife and culture scenes.

The largest city of Guanajuato, León, has about 2,000,000 people and so has the largest gay community and the most gay nightlife options. Shoppers also love the city as it is a center of the leather industry.

The second city of the state is Irapuato and is has a sizeable LGBT community and an annual LGBT+ pride parade.

The state capital and seat of the university Guanajuato has a big LGBT population with many university students and is a popular destination for all types of travelers for its UNESCO heritage site historic center.

San Miguel de Allende is a city famous for its art and artists and has a huge expat community as is very LGBT welcoming.

The colonial city of Celaya is also home to a substantial LGBT community.
