We visited El Rey Gallo on Friday late afternoon and really enjoyed the airy space and creative cocktails. The street noise and the bar across the street were a little noisy but at least the restaurant didn't blast their music super loud to try and drown it out. One thing to look out for: when we asked for a menu he said it is only on instagram so you have to go search it out. Do search it out or check here because the menu prices are a bit odd. There are some great value cocktails at only 80 pesos but if you just order without looking some pretty standard drinks are more than double e.g. a margarita for 136 pesos.
