STIC Baños is a well known public bathhouse with a predominantly gay clientele and a reputation for being one of the city’s more uninhibited spaces. Spread across three levels, it features a mix of wet and dry steam rooms, open showers, and plenty of areas to explore. It’s not particularly modern, but that doesn’t seem to matter, especially on weekends, when it draws a large, lively crowd and you may even find yourself waiting to get in. For those comfortable with this kind of environment, it offers a more intimate and social side of Monterrey’s LGBTQ+ scene that goes beyond the typical bar experience.
