Guadalajara has lots of options for guys to get laid (sorry women, there's not much for you). We've separated our listings below into the categories: bathhouses/saunas, sex clubs, porno cinemas, sex shops, and bars with darkrooms (as opposed to sex clubs with bars).

There are many bathhouses/saunas in Guadalajara, some of which are traditional places that have a mixed crowd but with cruising, but most of which are gay-only sex spaces. The facilities vary but generally you'll find a "baño de vapor" (steam room), a jacuzzi, sometimes a dry sauna and a darkroom or cruising maze. Some have private rooms, some have booths that you can close the door to. Most have at least a basic bar with beer, soft drinks and sometimes snacks.

Voltio is an example of a cruising club which blurs the line between bar and sex club. You could go there for just a drink but most go for the cruising and there are several distinct dark rooms

Sex clubs / cruising clubs are a bit different and the options here have exploded in the last decade. Most have a bar and lounge to hang out in but they are fundamentally sex clubs first, bars second. You'll generally find a darkroom, a maze and semi-private booths. All sell some sort of drinks and a few have a full bar. There is generally a clothes check and a dress code which can vary by night but is most often just underwear.

There are still several old-school porn cinemas in Guadalajara that are more cruising spots than places to watch the screen. They are usually a bit run-down but they can be fun. There are many sex shops for supplies and toys in the city. The ones we've listed ones below make a special effort to welome the LGBT community but the others may meet your needs as well. Unlike in many other Mexican cities, we're not aware of sex shops in Guadalajara which also have booth cruising in the back.

Finally, there are a few bars that have darkrooms. The focus in these places is more on the bar, and the darkroom is just an added bonus, but in some the action shifts from the bar to the darkroom as the night goes on. You'll find a full list of bars on the bars page, the ones below are those with significant darkrooms. Some of the regular parties listed on the bars page under popups also have darkrooms. If you are planning to visit the darkroom in these places, consider checking your wallet and phone as pickpockets can be a problem.
