There are many accomodation options for LGBT travelers to Guadalajara. The city is very open and welcoming (it's Gaydalajara after all!) so you'll find that most hotels are gay friendly. We've listed a number of places that are either gay owned or managed, have a particular appeal to the LGBT community or are well known for their support of LGBT causes.
The largest chain hotels tend to be clustered in the Financial District/Midtown or near the Guadalajara Expo, neither of which are particularly convenient for the LGBT nightlife (though not far by Uber or taxi) but are in modern areas.
If you're looking for a boutique property, look in the Americana and Obrera neighborhoods and near Avenida Chapultepec/the Zona Rosa. These places are convenient for the Zona Rosa nightlife and not far from the center either and there are many stylish restaurants and cafes in the area.
The historic centre has a large number of hotels too and if you want to be in the heart of the action, this is the place to be. They range from budget to luxury.
Finally the neighboring cities of Zapopan, Tlaquepaque and Tonalá have a number of options as well. These cities have their own charms but little in the way of LGBT nightlife so you'll be taking a taxi or the metro to get to the action.
