If you want a piece of Guadalajara’s LGBTQ+ history, head to El Ciervo. It’s one of the city’s oldest gay bars and has long been known as a favorite gathering place for rancheros and locals from across Jalisco. The atmosphere is refreshingly unpretentious, making it a great place to experience a side of Guadalajara’s gay scene that has been around for decades.
