Welcome to Gaydalajara!
Esa página está disponible también en español.
Mexico's second biggest city, Guadalajara has also been called by some its gayest and there are an enormous selection of places to drink, to hangout, to eat, to cruise and to have fun.
If you scroll down, you'll see an overview of the main neighborhoods of interest as well as information on events. Or if you can find all the info on whatever you seek on the following pages:
Hotels and Guesthouses - from luxury hotels to intimate guesthouses to design hostels and everything in-between. We've included places that are either gay owned or managed, have a particular appeal to the LGBT community or are well known for their support of LGBT causes
Bars and Clubs - there is a huge variety of LGBT nightlife in Guadalajara, from working class bars to trendy dance clubs. We've also listed regularly occurring parties
Restaurants and Cafes - Guadalajara has a great food scene with both Mexican and International options. Most places are very gay friendly but we've highlighted places that are of particular appeal and/or are LGBT owned or have LGBT events
Community and Health - there's tons of support if you need it and LGBT specific health services
Sex - so many places to have a good time from bathhouses to sex clubs to porno cinemas and more, you'll find the lowdown here
Shopping - need club clothes or sexy underwear? LGBT literature or rainbow gear? Find it here
Services - spas, travel agents and more
Lesbian - of course lesbians are welcome and can be found at all the places above but this page digs a little deeper into the offerings especially for women
There are two different competing pride events in Guadalajara, on succeeding weekends. Information on Guadalajara Pride is here and Marcha del Orgullo Guadalajara is here.
Also part of the Guadalara Metropolitan area you will also find the cities of Zapopan, Tlaquepaque & Tonalá which are actually the 2nd, 3rd and 4th biggest cities in Jalisco state and have significant LGBT communities. They are included on our Guadalajara pages.
For other destinations see our Jalisco state page or just go directly to the page for the gay hotspot of Puerto Vallarta.

Centro Historico Guadalajara
This area is busy night and day and most of the gay and lesbian bars, clubs and saunas are located close by. There's also plenty of people watching and cruising along the busy streets, especially on the several pedestrian-only streets in the center. Most of the gay action takes place at night but there are also a few cafes with a daytime crowd. View on map

Zona Rosa Paseo Chapultepec
This neighborhood is centered on the wide Chapultepec boulevard in a more modern part of the city west of the centre. Bounded by Av Mexico to the north and Av Niños Heroes to the south. This is a busy area day and night and is great for people watching, shops, patios. There is a grouping of gay bars, discos and shops near here as well which have a more upscale (and more expensive) vibe than those in the Centro Historico. View on map
