Baja California is a state with a number of different destinations for LGBT travelers to explore. We've split our listings into four different pages:

  • Tijuana and Rosarito - The border city has a huge gay scene with many bars and clubs.

  • Mexicali - The state capital and second largest city has a very active LGBT community.

  • Ensenada - The port city is a stop on the cruise circuit and has several gay bars

  • Tecate - This smaller border city has a number of LGBT options

We don't currently know of any LGBT+ places to go in smaller towns in Baja (Norte) state. But there is an annual pride march in San Quintín.

For options in the south of Baja, see our page for Baja California Sur.
