From intimate guesthouses to luxury hotels to hip hostels

Esa página está disponible también en español.

There are many accomodation options for LGBT travelers to Mexico City though at the moment there are no exclusively LGBT places. The city is very open and welcoming so you'll find that most hotels are gay friendly. We've listed a number of places that are either gay owned or managed, have a particular appeal to the LGBT community or are well known for their support of LGBT causes.

The largest chain hotels tend to be on or near Avendia Reforma which is convenient for both the Zona Rosa and the historic center. If you're looking for a more boutique hotel experience close to great restaurants and cafes you might want to look in the Roma or Condesa neighborhoods. Polanco also has a number of hotels, particularly the luxury ones.

The options below are of course just a tiny fraction of what's available in Mexico City. If you'd like to look at all hotels in a particular neighborhood click the links to view accommodations there: Zona Rosa, Centro Historico, Roma, Condesa, Juarez, Polanco

Note that there's another category of hotels in Mexico called "motels" or "hoteles de paso" which are basically love hotels where you can rent a room by the hour or even, in some cases, cruise the hallways. You wouldn't generally want to spend the night at those places so check our sex page for more information on those.

What are people saying about us?

rustytrawler from Los Angeles CA

Hi, Coming to DF in June and wondering where to stay. I'd love a hotel with a fun/hot pool scene. I have to say though, the 69M guesthouse seems a little too small for me. I'd prefer a bigger hotel. Any suggestions? Thanks.
