With its big student population and all the trendy cafés and galleries, you might expect more of a gay scene, but unfortunately the locals seem to prefer to head out on the weekends to go dancing in Leon. But it's still a gay-friendly city and there's lot of students (both Mexican and international) for eye candy. Map is centered on Jardin La Union which is the centre of social life in Guanajuato.
